Women’s health is underfunded, under treated, and often silenced. At PRM, we are on a mission to change that.

More unique than any other industry, not only is the women’s healthcare patient consuming content on social media, but they are creating community, diagnosing themselves, and one another, faster than their doctors and advocating for one another.

Patients demanded a better way, our founder demanded a better way, a better way to treat pelvic pain is why we’re here.

We believe that the millions of women and men who suffer from pelvic pain should have access to care that provides relief. We don’t believe “a glass of wine will fix it” or that “it’s all in your head”. This belief is what unifies us all at Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine.

This belief is at the core of our social media strategy and it is why we are beyond honored to announce that PRM was honored to win a Merit Award in Healthcare for Social Media – taking home Gold for our Instagram.

The content, strategy, and education is patient-first: it is patient led with advocacy, validation and education always top of mind. Patients are not afraid to share their real-time experiences (good and bad) of having persistent pelvic pain and endometriosis with PRM and see this account as a place to engage in community.

Thank you to all of you for following us and sharing your stories – we’re honored to be a part of your journey and look forward to continuing to validate, educate, and empower your healthcare!

“Healthcare is a critical part of our lives, whether business or personal,” said Marie Zander, executive director, Merit Awards. “We were thrilled to receive the submissions that spoke to the services, products, innovations and technologies that are shaping the healthcare marketplace. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners.”
