The health and safety of our patients and employees is Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine’s top priority. While remaining open, our Team is strictly adhering to the recommendations offered by the CDC and our disinfecting policies are meticulously executed in each of our offices. We assure you a healthy, safe environment while bringing you the exceptional healthcare you deserve.

At Pelvic Rehabilitation, nothing is more important to us than the safety and well-being of our patients. That’s why, as we navigate the process of reopening, we will be implementing several new safety protocols to ensure that we can continue to provide you with the top-quality care that you deserve while doing everything possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Pre-Appointment Screening

Prior to your appointment, we request that you answer some relevant questions regarding the coronavirus. These include:

Have you had a temperature within the past 24 hours?
Have you been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
Have you yourself previously tested positive for the coronavirus?

We strongly encourage patients who are sick or have come into recent contact with someone who has symptoms not to come into our office.

Once You Arrive For Your Appointment

All patients will be greeted by PRM staff and have their temperatures taken when they arrive at the office. Bear in mind that we require everyone visiting our office to wear a mask. You will be escorted directly to one of our patient rooms to avoid any contact with other patients and staff which may occur in our waiting area. Direct contact will be limited to your physician and medical assistant.

What Additional Precautions Are Being Taken By Staff?

All of our staff are outfitted with personal protective equipment including masks, gloves, eyewear, and sterile gowns. Staff members are regularly washing their hands and thoroughly cleaning both patient rooms and shared spaces in between all interactions with patients. For those patients who are not comfortable visiting our offices while the coronavirus pandemic is ongoing, we also offer many of our services through online TeleHealth sessions.

We want to assure all of our patients that we are taking these circumstances very seriously and will be strictly adhering to all of these standards to protect the safety of our patients and staff. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our staff members while setting up your appointment.
