Introducing Dr. Melissa McHale: Joining Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine in the Greater Washington DC Area 

We are delighted to announce a new addition to the Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine team in the Greater Washington D.C. area, including Bethesda, MD, and Falls Church, VA. Dr. Melissa McHale, a board-certified Gynecologic Surgeon and Endometriosis Excision Specialist, has joined our practice, further strengthening our commitment to providing exceptional care for patients suffering from endometriosis. Dr. McHale’s expertise and compassionate approach make her an invaluable asset as we continue our mission to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain and underlying conditions.   

Meet Dr. Melissa McHale: A Leader in Endometriosis Excision Surgery

Endometriosis affects millions of women worldwide, causing chronic pain and severely impacting their quality of life. With Dr. McHale’s extensive expertise and commitment to patient-centered care, she will play a pivotal role in helping patients on their journey to healing. 

 Dr. Melissa McHale has performed over 300 complex excision of endometriosis cases, demonstrating her skill in the surgical management of this condition. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in sacral neuromodulator implants, transvaginal ultrasound diagnostics, and the comprehensive management of pain and fertility in endometriosis patients. Her dedication to delivering personalized, evidence-based care ensures that patients receive the highest quality treatment available. 

Collaborative Training with Dr. Andrea Vidali

Dr. McHale completed her OB/GYN residency at Johns Hopkins before completing a two-year fellowship with Dr. Andrea Vidali, a world-renowned surgeon specializing in endometriosis, miscarriage, and reproductive immunology at Braverman Reproductive Immunology and Endometriosis Surgery. During this time, Dr. McHale had the privilege of working closely with Dr. Vidali, honing her surgical skills and expanding her expertise in the field of endometriosis.
